This is the perfect class for your young dancer. We focus on creative movement which builds on the necessary gross motor skills needed for primary dance instruction. We use fun, upbeat music to learn basic skills like hopping, skipping, jumping, galloping , and balance coordination. Students will engage in dramatic music movement and learn introductory ballet steps. *This is a mommy and me class*
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements
Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer.
Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. .
Students will learn classical ballet techniques and terminology. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations.
Basic ballet and tap steps and creative movement. This class is a little more structured than the twinkle toes/toddler tap class.
Mini Pom is designed for dancers between the ages of 5 and 8 who are interested in combining beginning dance skills with over the top energy and enthusiasm. This class introduces basic pom movements and terminology. Each class incorporates a warm-up, introductory training of pom technique, and combinations using pom movement.
